Pronounced Daveed

Hi, my name is David (pronounced Daveed) and I’m a half-Portuguese, half-American guy living a life intertwined between the personal and the professional. I’m basically vulnerable about the good, the bad and the ugly as I share about the role of a husband, father and professional. I’m a communicator at heart and enjoy each opportunity to learn and share from my own experiences.

This is my personal blog. I write about leadership at home and at work. I believe our world needs more leaders who can better manage their power of influence while also balancing the opportunity to just “be”… to just recognize the beauty of each moment. I believe this is God’s purpose for me and I’m on that journey. My goal is to blog once a week on my thoughts and experiences.

My wife Courtney and I reside in Fort Mill, SC with our three children, Caden, Blake and Ava. Our family is actively engaged with our local church and host a small group every Friday.
